Prepping for winter

ROADS service teams at the council have been out across Dumfries and Galloway testing snowploughs and gritters to make sure every vehicle is in top working order for the winter.
They've also started refilling over 1300 grit bins across the region.
And right now, there is 12,000 tonnes of rock salt stored and ready to be used, which will be topped up throughout the season.
