Postie accused of stealing mail

Grant McCrone, 26, of Balmoral Avenue, Dumfries, is alleged to have stolen packets while employed as a postal worker between September and December 2012. He is also accused of intentionally delaying delivery of 2489 postal packets. The case was this week continued without plea for three weeks.
