Police on hunt for abandoned van driver

AN ABANDONED van and large amount of fresh fly tipping were discovered by police near Langholm during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Just after midnight, officers were patrolling the A7 near to Auchenrivock when they discovered a large amount of fresh fly tipping and a van in suspicious circumstances.

Police said the driver abandoned the vehicle and is currently wanted. Anyone with any knowledge of this incident is asked to contact police on 101 and quote reference CR/0327299/25.
