Picture perfect

PRIZES for the annual Guid Nychburris photo competition were handed out this week. Cornet William Black, Cornet’s Lass Lindsey Mundell and Queen of the South Macy True presented the trophies and medals on Tuesday evening to Kelcy Mason who wowed judges with her ‘laughable horse’ picture, taken during a Guid Nychburris rideout. Also, 15-year-old Zak Dickson scooped the junior prize with his stunning view of the Auld Brig and the River Nith captured on his way across the Buccleuch Street bridge at the end of Guid Nychburris day.
