Pair hurt in Kirkconnel disturbance

DETECTIVES are appealing for information following a disturbance in Kirkconnel early on Sunday morning. It happened at about 2.25am in St Conal’s Square West. As a result, two men were taken to hospital for treatment. Detective Inspector Graeme Robertson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed or have information on the incident to contact us. “We’d also ask anyone with private CCTV that could assist our enquiries to come forward.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 0426 of Saturday, 12 April, 2026.
