Oyster event is one of a kind

STRANRAER OYSTER festival is a bucket list visit. It appears on a list compiled by VisitScotland of ten 'one-of-a-kind' events across the country. From the 12th – 14th September, it offers a massive weekend packed with amazing food, music, markets and more to end the summer with a bang. Great for all ages, it’s a family favourite and an authentic way to experience the spirit of the southwest. It is noted that the festival highlights the coastal culture with highlights including the Scottish oyster shucking championships, live cooking demos from top chefs and family activities.
