Operation Dark Night

POLICE in Dumfries and Galloway are running Operation Dark Night until November 9. A force spokesperson said: “As the days shorten and available light diminishes, roads policing officers will focus on engaging and educating vulnerable road users on road safety. “Increased night time driving highlights poor driver eyesight and is a growing road safety challenge. If you require vision aids, wear/use them, we will check your sight if you’re stopped.”
