Nithbank sold

THE historic Nithbank Hospital building in Dumfries has been sold for £650,000. In its listing on the Prospect Properties Group website, it’s described as ideal for refurbishment. Dating from the 19th century, the sandstone building is category B listed and has been the subject of several fires in the last few years. The new owners have not yet been identified but the Prospect group yesterday confirmed the Nithbank sale was completed last month.
