Annan and Eskdale

A REGIONAL charity that runs hearing aid maintenance drop-ins is moving to new premises in Annan next month.

Dumfries and Galloway Hard of Hearing Group is moving the popular session at Charles Street Health Clinic, which operates from 10 am to 12 noon on the first Monday of the month, to St Andrew’s Church Hall in Bank Street from October.
People can bring their NHS hearing aids along if they need tubing replaced, batteries or are having trouble adjusting, while training is also delivered to care homes so staff can support residents who wear hearing aids.
The Annandale and Eskdale group also operates from the North Surgery in Annan on the second Tuesday of the month from 10 am to 12 noon.
And it also calls into Gretna Surgery on the third Wednesday of the month from 10 am to 12 noon and the Thomas Hope Hospital in Langholm on the last Tuesday of the month from 12.45 pm to 1.45 pm.
