New dental practice will accept NHS patients

PLANS are afoot for a new dental practice in Dumfries which would welcome NHS patients. Saint Visage Dental Group are hoping to open the doors to their new Lochside clinic in the next few months. Once open the premises would welcome NHS patients, with no cap currently set on new patient numbers. Talha Asghar will be the manager of Lochside Dental and Implant Clinic. He said: “We are going to be expanding our services because of the need in the area. That’s why we are making this practice, to fulfil the demand. “We will also be offering a wide range of services at this practice.” This news will be welcomed after NHS dentistry in the region has suffered continual blows in recent months.
