ANNA Austin has joined the board of South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE).
She replaces Viv Cockburn, who steps down after three years.
Previously a lawyer, Anna is now the estate manager for the Caerlaverock Estate, overseeing its farming, tourism, hospitality and property businesses.
She recently delivered a large scale diversity project, aimed at restoring natural habitats across the estate.
Delighted at her new appointment, she said: “Living in Dumfries and Galloway, I can see the unbelievable potential of the area, alongside its challenges.
“It is important for the South of Scotland to be bold in its future endeavours and I look forward to helping shape the region’s economy for the benefit of its residents and visitors.”
