National award for boathouse appeal

A FUNDRAISING push by Kirkcudbright RNLI Lifeboat Station has earned the team a national award. Their boathouse appeal was named best community fundraising initiative of 2025 at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Scotland Awards. An RNLI spokesperson said: “The fundraising group are overwhelmed with the amazing support from the local community and further afield.” The award will be on display at the coffee morning on October 12 in the crew room.
