Music festival will be busy

GALLOWAY Music Festival begins on Monday with performances throughout the week. The annual festival attracts a wide variety of young performers, from soloists to orchestras and choirs, pop, jazz, folk and classical music, as well as Scots verse recitation and prose reading. There will be performances at venues across Galloway, including Newton Stewart Cinema, St John's Church in Penninghame, the Quarrymen's Arts Centre, the Ryan Centre and Castle Douglas Primary School.
