Music event for Burns club

ENJOY some traditional Scottish music at St Michael's Church on Thursday evening. Music lovers are being invited to join talented duo Kev Thompson and Ross Hunter for this an evening of Scottish folk music. The event has been organised by Dumfries Burns Club and all funds raised will go to the artists, the church or to support the club. Commenting ahead of Thursday's performance, Dumfries Burns Club president Judith Hewitt said:"‘In 2024, we held a successful musical evening of Burns’ songs at the Robert Burns Centre, the event last year was a real hit – it was packed and the feedback was fantastic. This year, we’ve brought Kev back for a longer concert in a bigger venue. It should be great!" The event will start at 7 pm and tickets will be available on the door.
