Missing man appeal

POLICE in Dumfries and Galloway are appealing for information to help trace 51-year-old Adrian Knott. Adrian, known as Ade, was last seen around 11 pm on Sunday night at Gatehouse of Fleet.

He is described as six-foot tall, grey beard with a bald head. He wears black framed glasses, has a nose ring and tattoos on both hands. He likely to be wearing a camouflage waterproof jacket and a brown fleece. Constable Gavin Maxwell said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Adrian and would ask if anyone knows his whereabouts to get in touch. “His vehicle was traced at Knocktinkle, Gatehouse of Fleet and extensive searches are ongoing in the area. “Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3218 of 24 November, 2025.”
