LANDOWNERS and farmers in the Eskdale area are being urged to give their views on lynx.

Officials at NFU Scotland - Dumfries and Galloway have flagged up a new survey by the Missing Lynx Project, which is lobbying for the reintroduction of lynx to Northumberland.

And the NFU team say people in the Langholm area need to be aware and take part in the survey.

They said: "This is of particular importance to our Langholm branch members and their fellow farmers.

"We know lynx won't stop at the border so please fill in your views to this national questionnaire the group has launched.

"This is different to the survey that was designed for locals, so please do make your feelings known again."
