Lottery joy for Stranraer store

A STRANRAER store owner has won £10,000 in a National Lottery prize draw.

Dennis Forsyth, who runs Key Store in McMasters Road, was one of 22 National Lottery retailers in its latest Site, Stock, Sell online quarterly prize draws, recognising stores that demonstrate consistently strong execution of National Lottery in-store standards.

And he was one of two retailers to receive the £10,000 top prize.

Dennis said: “I didn’t believe it when The National Lottery called, as I usually think it’s going to be bad news when the phone rings! But once they quoted my retailer number, I began to believe it. It’s great news for us, as it means that the newer car we have been looking to buy can now become a reality.”
