It’s all about country in Creetown
A ROOTIN’, tootin’ good time returns to Creetown next week for the sixth annual Country Ceilidh Festival.
Held at the Castle Cary football pitch, this year’s event will see a varied mixture of live country and ceilidh music, with strong Irish country music influence.
Performers will include Irish singer Derek Ryan, New Outfit, and duo Texas Tornados.
Also appearing will be Irish superstar Claudia Buckley with her blend of modern country and classic sentiment; along with Jason McCahill, Dirt Road, Elaine Boyle, the Ryan Turner Band, Scottish singer George Payling and local lad, RR Music.
Rounding out the weekend will be Scottish band Delta Smoak, Irish singer Trevor Loughrey, the Russ Kitchen Duo, Davy Holt and Stuart McIntosh, and James N Wood.
