Holiday park is best in Scotland

A MACHARS holiday park has been presented with a top tourism award.

Whitecairn Holiday Park near Glenluce was crowned ‘best small relax and explore’ destination in Scotland at UK holiday giant Hoseasons’ annual awards.

The awards are a celebration of the holiday parks, lodge resorts and boating locations in the company’s UK portfolio that achieved the highest scores in guest satisfaction surveys throughout the 2025 season.

Speaking after their win, Robert Rankin, director at Whitecairn Holiday Park, said: “We are very proud of this award. Our team always goes above and beyond to make sure our guests have a fantastic break when they stay with us, so it’s brilliant to see that hard work recognised in this way.”
