History and heritage captured on new boards
NEW information boards have been installed in the Remembrance Room at Tundergarth.
They have been put in place by Tundergarth Kirks Trust, who hope they will prove educational and useful for visitors.
The boards contain a wealth of information about Tundergarth, the old church ruins and the significance of Tundergarth in relation to the bombing of Pan Am flight 103 in 1988.
A trust spokesperson said: “We strive to respect the wishes of all of the families who lost loved ones in the attack, whilst helping to educate those who know little about the tragedy.
“Please do come and visit our Remembrance Room, where you can take time to read the boards, sign the visitors book and learn all about our wonderful place.”
