Heathhall house fire: Latest

A road in Heathhall is currently closed due to a nearby house fire. Emergency services - including four fire engines and several police vehicles - are at the scene at Astor Drive/Dinwiddie Drive. Astor Drive is now closed off. A source told the Dumfries Courier that the fire started at one Dinwiddie Drive house and has spread to another. There has been no official confirmation about the people who were inside the houses but it is believed two women who were inside the properties during the fire are safe.
