Have you got a home of the year?

BEAUTIFUL, quirky and unique properties in the region are being sought to appear on the Scotland's Home of the Year TV show.

Filming will take place in April and May for series nine, due to broadcast in 2027.

And the team have issued a last minute appeal for homeowners in Dumfries and Galloway Council to sign up.

A spokesperson said: "We are looking for unique, quirky and distinctive homes across the country- no matter the size or budget. "From grand conversions to tiny eco-homes, traditional Scottish croft houses to city dwellings, we are hoping to continue the search for outstanding homes embodying design, style and amazing architecture."

The deadline for applications is Friday April 3 and they can be submitted at https://eu.castitreach.com/a/iwc/shoty/welcome.
