A SCAM awareness raising event will take place in Dumfries next week.
The police and representatives from Santander Bank will be at the Usual Place meeting rooms on Tuesday, 10 am-12 noon, to help people learn how to be alert and how to protect themselves and their loved-ones.
As a drop-in event, it is open to everyone and anyone and includes a talk, information and advice. There may also be opportunities to speak to someone confidentially if you have been affected by a scam.
