Geoff’s photo show open to all

AN exhibition of photographic prints will go on show next week, raising money for a good cause. Members of the U3A Camera Club have inherited 150 mounted photographic prints created by the late Geoff Walters, who was a keen member of the club and a one-time member of the Dumfries and the Loreburn Camera Clubs too. They have enlisted the help of Dumfries Lions Club to stage a display and to sell the photos in aid of the “The Usual Place” community café and other local good causes. As such, the event marking Geoff’s photographic legacy will be launched on Monday night, from 6-8 pm, at The Usual Place, Dumfries. Members of the public and U3A are invited to attend. The exhibition will continue thereafter until April 11.
