Free walking tours launch

BURNS fans are in for a treat with free Robert Burns themed Walking Tours will be available in Dumfries this summer. An expert guide will take groups around the town highlighting places connected with the bard. This includes a look at the exterior of places such as The Globe Inn, The Theatre Royal and Burns House where there will be a discussion of each place and their association with Burns. It finishes with a visit inside the Mausoleum, where Burns is buried. The tours will take place on Saturday's throughout July and August starting at 6 pm. They will last around an hour and a half.
