ALL Saints Church at Challoch hosted its first wedding for ten years on Saturday.

Jennifer Faux and Ewan Moses tied the knot in the company of family and friends with the Galloway Hills as their backdrop and the ceremony performed by Reverend Dawn Matthew.

The Moses family has close connections with the church as they are immediate neighbours, and some years ago they donated a plot of land to the church for use as a car park.

Saturday’s nuptials were the first to take place at the Victorian church since 2015, and Reverend Dawn was delighted to have been part of the couple’s special day commenting: “We are delighted that Jennifer and Ewan have chose Challoch to celebrate their marriage as it is such a lovely church and who could wish for a better setting?

Blushing bride Jennifer added: “We were really looking forward to having our wedding at Challoch. We really love All Saints and it has such close ties with my husband’s family, we really couldn’t have wished for a better place to get married.”
