A BUSINESSWOMAN who ‘took a punt’ by joining forces with a luxury global property brand to open its only office in Scotland during the covid pandemic is celebrating a major success.
Louisa Thomson has powered her Fine & Country licence from new kid on the block to one of Scotland’s top three single office estate agencies.
The business – which offers premium properties for sale or rent across Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders – consistently leads the way for instructions and sales.
Now a panel of 80 industry experts from the UK Property Awards appraised every element and declared it one of Scotland’s best.
Louisa, above left, said: “The amazing success and progress of this Fine & Country office comes from the knowledge, hard work and commitment of the entire team who consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service.
“I am deeply indebted to their expertise and friendliness which has ultimately resulted in Fine & Country South Scotland being declared one of the best single office estate agents across the country, and I could not be prouder of them all.
“Negotiating the deal to take on the licence during lockdown was viewed as a risk by many, but it is one which is certainly paying off as we make great strides towards offering luxury properties across Dumfries & Galloway and the Scottish Borders, and this award gives us the confidence to continue developing and improving our services to a larger audience.”
Harriet Reid, right, is head of sales and has spearheaded their rapid improvement in the south of Scotland.
She said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named as one of the best single office estate agencies for Scotland in these prestigious awards.
“We have a small but very dedicated team who work incredibly hard, and to receive this award when there are so many outstanding estate agencies across the country is a great achievement for this branch.
“At Fine & Country, we pride ourselves on delivering the best possible customer service by going the extra mile, and to know our work is appreciated and celebrated makes it all worthwhile.”
