PUPILS, staff and parents past and present gathered to say a fond farewell to Tundergarth Primary last week.

It was an emotional afternoon for everyone as they looked back on the history of the wee rural school.

It is being mothballed by Dumfries and Galloway Council due to falling numbers, with the remaining children being transferred to St Mungo Primary from August.
