ESSENTIAL resurfacing will take place on the A751, south of Innermessan, later this week.
The work kicks off on Thursday night at 8 pm and will run overnight until 6 am on Friday.
During that time the road will be closed with diversions in place for traffic.
However, access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained.
All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
An Amey spokesperson said: "This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
"Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken."
