Double honours for region

TWO women from Dumfries and Galloway have been included on the King's Birthday Honours. Heather Hall and Karen Wylie have been made Medallists of the Order of the British Empire. Heather was the CEO of The Inspired Community Enterprise Trust behind The Usual Place cafe in Dumfries. She is honoured for services to the community in Dumfries and Galloway. Also in Dumfries, Karen is the founder of the Grub Club and is recognised 'for services to ending hunger in the community in Lochside'.
