NOMINATIONS are being sought from this region for a community hero this Christmas.

British Garden Centres has launch its heart-warming “Light Up Your Community” campaign.

And their initiative celebrates those who bring warmth, kindness, and light into people's lives throughout the year. So, this Christmas, customers are invited to nominate someone truly special, whether it be a friend, neighbour, colleague, or local hero who deserves a little extra sparkle and recognition during the festive season.

The winning nominee will receive a £100 British Garden Centres gift voucher, offering a chance to treat themselves to plants, gifts, or decorations just in time for Christmas.

Lucy Hewitt, from British Garden Centres, said: “Christmas is a time to come together, show kindness, and celebrate community spirit. Our ‘Light Up Your Community’ campaign allows people to say thank you to those who brighten the lives around them. It’s a reminder of how much small, thoughtful actions can mean during the festive season. "Why not nominate someone special now and help make their Christmas truly bright?”
