DG1's main pool temporarily closed after medical emergency

DG1 Leisure Complex's main pool was temporarily closed this morning following a medical emergency. A council spokesperson confirmed that a person became unwell whilst using the main pool. Staff acted quickly to provide assistance and emergency services were called to the scene immediately. The pool reopened at 1 pm but the other facilities remained open to the public throughout the morning. The council has stated it would not be appropriate to comment further on the individual's condition at this time. A council spokesman said: “We can confirm that a person became unwell while using the main pool at DG1 Leisure Complex this morning.
