SPACES are still available on a course which is aimed at discussing the topics of death, dying, and bereavement.

The public are invited by Dumfries and Galloway Carers Centre to attend a series of events for Demystifying Death Week 2025. From May 5-11 there will be café style conversations in a relaxed setting to talking about death, dying, and bereavement in order to “gain a deeper understanding of some of the issues people face at the end of life.”

There will be a chance for attendees to consider end of life planning in a supported and unintimidating environment. Additionally, there will be an optional themed escape room and the ‘It Takes a Village’ exhibition.

On Friday May 9 there will be two sessions for carers and volunteers; from 10am to 12pm; and from 2-4pm a similar session will be open to all Third Sector staff and volunteers.
