THIS week we’re celebrating Peter Angelini, a loyal fan of the Dumfries Courier. The 87-year-old is an unofficial paperboy in Dumfries, taking it upon himself to pick up dozens of copies every week for friends and neighbours. He told us: “It’s the best paper around. I’m surprised we got it free for so long.” Peter, aka The People’s Poet, is a prolific writer and we’ll be publishing another of his pieces in next week’s paper
