Creativity in focus at forum

AN event looking at the comforts and challenges of creativity will take place in Dumfries on Monday.

The Mental Health Forum: Comfort and Disturb - Making Space for Creativity in Mental Health will be at The Grain Store on the Whitesands.

It will be delivered by Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway in partnership with OutPost Arts as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival 2025.

And it will explore how creativity can both comfort and challenge us - offering new perspectives on mental health and wellbeing. Through conversation, collaboration and creative practice, participants will consider how the arts can inform prevention, intervention and recovery.

Attendance is free and it’s open to everyone working in, or interested in, mental health, community wellbeing and the arts.
