Crash closes A701

At least two vehicles are understood to have been involved in the collision at Amisfield this morning. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At about 9.20 am there was a road crash on the A701 near Amisfield. "It's a car into a lorry." Several police patrol cars, fire engines and ambulances were seen heading to the scene of the collision. And the police spokeswoman said: "They've closed there and diversions are in place."
