Cook off on the table for Alison

CARE home director Alison Donaldson is swapping her suits for chefs’ whites for a charity cook-off .

Alison is the managing director of Dumfries’ Lochduhar Care Home and will be teaming up with her fellow managing directors to go head to head against Barchester’s executive team to cook up a storm and raise vital funds for group’s charitable foundation.

She has been practising hard and said: “I absolutely love to cook and I am extremely competitive so when I was asked to take part in the Cook Off alongside my fellow MDs, I jumped at the chance!

“The Foundation is a very worthy cause so it is fantastic to think that our efforts will help so many people live better lives.”
