Come and try bowls in Annan

ANNAN Bowling Club will be holding a 'Try Bowls' event this Sunday, from 11 am to 2 pm, as part of Bowls Scotland National Try Bowls weekend. Club president, Jim Moonie said: "Lawn bowls is a great way to learn new skills, build confidence and make new friends. "It's fun, active and great for all ages. If you've never played before, call in and give it ago. "You never know, it might be your favourite hobby, but you just don't know it yet. "Equipment is provided, all we ask is that you bring some flat soles shoes, give it a go and enjoy yourself. "Refreshments are available and a special membership rate is available for new members."
