Club call

NEW members are being sought for the Dumfries Burns Club ahead of their 2025/2026 season.

Established in 1820, Dumfries Burns Club was created by friends and admirers of Robert Burns who wanted to see him properly interred in a fitting last resting place. They banded together to create the club and to raise funds for the Mausoleum.

This active, inclusive and forward thinking club has met ever since and new members are welcome.

The club's events programme includes dinners, talks, musical and poetry performances and visits.
