Church offers chance to ‘Light up a Life’

A FUNDRAISING Christmas tree will be lit up at the Light up a Life ceremony at St Michael’s and South Church hall this weekend.

It will take place on Saturday at 6.30 pm.

Reverend Tom Bonnar and his wife Sandra, will switch on the lights which will shine throughout the festive season. There will be carol singing outside the church hall, followed by refreshments, home baking and entertainment in the church hall afterwards.

Each bulb on the tree is sponsored for a £5 donation in celebration of a loved one and their names will be entered in a book of remembrance which will be displayed in the church throughout next year.
