Christmas, Norway style

DUMFRIES' historic links to Norway are to be celebrated with a special festive event.

The town's museum is inviting everyone to a Norwegian Christmas Day on December 13.

There will be Norwegian music, decorations and food and it's free to drop in between 10 am and 3 pm.

Meanwhile, there have been Norwegian themed craft sessions going on throughout this month to get everyone in the Nordic spirit.

And it finishes this weekend with a Yule Goats workshop on Saturday, between 10 am and 3 pm. Participants will get to decorate their own goat and other festive shapes to take home or hang on the tree in the museum.
