Charity cycle keeps Paul in the saddle

WHEELS keep on turning for Paul Farrell as he bids to complete a month long cycle challenge.

Throughout August the bus driver from Lockerbie is getting on his bike to cover a total of 250 miles for charity.

He’s cycling in aid of Pancreatic Cancer Care UK and has so far raised £209 since starting on August 1 and hopes to get to at least £250 by the end of them month.

Paul, 47, only took up cycling seriously a year ago but has become really passionate about the pasttime.
Wife Gail said: “I am so proud of Paul for raising money for research and hopefully a cure.

“He loves cycling and after seeing a few adverts on social media about cycling 250 miles in August for Pancreatic Cancer he wanted to raise money for a charity and to also give himself a challenge.”
