Chance to get job ready

A SERIES of free workshops are planned to help people in the area who are looking for work.

Morgan Sindall Construction, who are currently building the new Dumfries High School, is hosting the sessions as part of their offering for the community and everyone of all ages is welcome.

They are aimed at those looking to get into/back into work and will focus on CV writing, interview skills resilience and being work ready.

A spokesperson said: "These workshops are run by an external organisation, CEIS, who are experts at preparing people on the path to finding work and developing the necessary skills.

"The workshops are completely free of charge and they would be held in our project site office, at the high school."
