Carlisle floods

IN THE last few days, Cumbria has again been battered by flooding following Storm Desmond. 

Flood defences have been breached across the county – with water levels worse than the crisis of 2005.

Stephen Glaister, who lives in Carlisle but works in Annan, has been out and about taking pictures of some of the worst hit parts of the city.
