BUDDING writers are being invited to create their own wonderlands on Tuesday evening at a special tea party at Thomas Tosh in Thornhill.

Part of Book Week Scotland, the event in Thornhill will be inspired the magic of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.

Hosted by Commingled creative director Heather Taylor and lead by established writer Carolyn Hashimoto, the free workshop will allow participants to let their imaginations roam freely, drawing inspiration from the curious and whimsical world of Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland.

Heather said: “I wanted to host a get together that captures the spirit of play and curiosity found in Wonderland — where everyone, regardless of experience, can explore their creativity.

“So, if you would like to spark your writing adventure for the first time, or are already experienced at writing either professionally or for leisure, please come.”

The event will take place on Tuesday November 18 at 6.30 pm at Thomas Tosh. Places can reserved a space by emailing [email protected] or via the website www.thomastosh.com.
