Body recovered from bay

A BODY has been recovered from Fleet Bay following a two-day search. Around 4.40 pm on Thursday a body was recovered in the bay near Whithorn. Although the body has yet to be formally identified, the family of missing man Alistair Turnbull, known as Garry Turnbull, has been informed. A police Scotland spokesperson stated earlier today: "There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
