Body found in missing man search

A BODY has been found in the search for a missing Stranraer man. Police say the body of a man was found during searches for a missing man in Arrochar area, at about 10.45 am last Friday, February, 27. He is yet to be formally identified, however, the family of 64-year-old George Smith from Stranraer, who was reported missing last week have been informed. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. ?
