A CUTE and cuddly event returned to Moffat at the weekend.

Upper Annandale Parish Church welcomed dozens of visitors of all ages to its Teddy Bear Festival to see a wide display of bears brought to life in creative scenes throughout the church.

According to organisers the bears had been ‘hibernating for a few years’ before making their long-awaited return, drawing curiosity and excitement from the community.

Alongside the exhibits there were a range of children’s activities on offer as well as refreshments, creating a warm atmosphere inside the historic church.

Organisers described the festival as a ‘fantastic weekend’, celebrating creativity, nostalgia and community spirit in equal measure.
