Australia gigs for Leah
GLENLUCE based singer-songwriter Leah Chynoweth-Tidy is going back to her roots with a tour Down Under.
Known throughout the region as Kissing the Flint, Leah is back in her native Australia for the first time in two years taking her latest album ‘Rule the World’ on tour.
Recorded, and engineered by Huey Dowling at Unit 7 Studio near Bladnoch, the new album fuses polish with raw emotional depth, freewheeling through country pop and rock, soul, Celtic influences, and even a subtle touch of reggae in a rich and diverse sonic landscape.
Following the album’s release on Monday, Leah has been preparing and doing a few warm-up gigs before her tour.
Looking ahead, she said: “A major 2026 tour highlight will be powering out a main stage set alongside legendary Antipodean rockers Dragon at Agnes Blues Fest on Saturday 21 February and joining other sensational Australian female artists such as Minnie Marks and Olivia Ruth in a stellar summer line-up.”
