Assault appeal

POLICE are seeking assistance in relation to a serious assault that took place in Stranraer at the weekend.
A man suffered a serious hand injury in the incident, between 5-5.25 pm last Saturday near to Glen Orchard - Old Port Avenue - Coronation Drive area in the town.
Detective Constable Chloe Alison commented: "We are keen to speak to anyone who may have information in relation to this incident. We would ask anyone who resides in the area to check their CCTV or door camera footage at the time listed. We would also ask anyone who has a dashcam in their vehicle to check it."
